Thx. you Shelly & Isabelle, glad you like her. I enjoyed my best winter ever photographing owl's here in Manitoba, they seemed to be everywhere. However of the dozens I located, I never had or did I ever anticipate one to come in so close to my proximity. That opportunity may never come again!

Description
This beautiful Great Grey Owl was hunting voles when it suddenly landed with in 6 meter's of my location. Looking thru my 500mm lens, all that was visible was the owl's head. I quickly proceeded to fire off sereval frames before the owl took to flight.
